Part - 3

AFTER FEW DAYS

ANAYA's POV

Yesterday, i got a call from dadi saying she's coming today to stay with me for few days. I was overjoyed! I missed her so much. But something feels off. Dadi never informs me just a day before her arrival - she always tells me at least a week in advance. shayad main kuch jyada hi soch rahi hu .

A loud car honk pulled me out of my thoughts. I ran outside just in time to see her stepping out of the car while the driver unloaded her luggage. Without wasting a second, I rushed to her and hugged her tightly.

As soon as i helt her warmth, all my emotions overflowed. My grip on her tightened, and before i could stop myself, tears welled up in my eyes.

"Dadi... i missed you so much," i whispered, my voice breaking.

She rubbed my back soothingly. "Arey beta, aise thodi na rote hain?" She said gently.

But i couldn't stop. My heart felt too heavy, like all the loneliness i had been ignoring finally caught up with me. Dadi held me tighter, letting me cry in her arms.

After few movements, she pulled back slightly and wiped my tears. "Hum roz baat karte hain na, phir itna rona kyu?"

I sniffled, giving her a small smile. "U know i'm a crybaby, Dadi,".

She chuckled. "that i know! And i also know you don't like to living alone. But you never listen, which is why i'm here".

She patted my back and motioned toward the apartment. "Ab chalo, andar chalein".

I nodded and picked up her bag, leading her inside.

Once we were settled, she gave me a playful smile. "Bas bas , ab apni dadi ko baithne ko nahi bolegi?"

I laughed. "Sit na, dadi! Let me bring my special chai".

A while later, i came back with 2 cups of tea and some snacks. we talked for a bit, catching up on everything, and then i insisted she rest.

9:45 PM - Dadi's Room

I lay on dadi's lap, her fingers gently caressing my hair.

"Gudiya, ek baat puchu tumse? " she asked softly.

" Puchiye na, dadi. kya hua?"

She sighned before speaking. " you know we all love you so much and only want your happiness. But we also know that you purposely live alone because you don't want us to worry about you. We only let you stay here because it was your dream to built something of you own." And now that you've achieved it, we're so proud of you, but...

I sat up, alarmed . "Dadi, aisa kuch nahi hai! aur aap ro kyu rahe ho? abhi toh apne kaha ki ur proud of me toh ab kya hua?"

Seeing her teary eyes made mine sting with emotions. I hugged her tightly.

She took a deep breath. "Beta, i knpw you miss Anish and Asha..." she paused, referring to my parents. "And i also know you crave love. It's time, beta. You should share your life with someone, with a partner who loves you and takes care of you.

Please, Anaya... it's my request. It's time for you to get married".

I pulled back slightly, shaking my head. "But dadi... i have you all. You know i don't need anyone else".

She cupped my face. "We will always be here for you, beta. But sometimes, in life, we need a companion- to share love, emotions, happiness, and even sorrow. I want you to have that, too".

I didn't said responded, just hugged her tighter.

" A few days ago, your mother's friend came to visit. She asked for your hand in marriage - for her elder son".

I froze.

Dadi continued gently. "can you please meet him, beta? if you don't like him, i won't force you. The decision is yours. But please mere liye sirf ek baar mil le usse".

My heart pounded in my chest. I sighned and wiped her tears. "Dadi, aap please mat bola karo. If you think it's right, i'll meet him. Bit stop crying, okay?"

She smile, relief washing over her face. "I know Aarti - your mother's friend. She and her family are good and loving people. Even your Bade Papa approve of them. If you're okay, i'll ask Aarti to send his photo and fix a meeting."

I hesiteted before nodding. "I'll meet him... but not right now. Give me a few days, dadi. i'll tell you when i'm ready "

She kissed my forehead. "Meri pyari bachi. chal, abh so ja. Aur zyada mat sochna, okay?"

"Haan, Dadi".

I kissed her cheeck, whispered goodnight, and went to my room. I didn't know when sleep took over as my mind raced with everything dadi had said.

AYANSH's POV

The conference hall was packed with top bussinessmen. The deal at stake was massive - securing it meant a strong alliances with one of the most powerful foreign companyies.

Every company wanted this deal, and i could sense the tension. All the P.A.s were running around in panic, ensuring their bosses had everything in place.

I sat calmly, reviewing the last minute details with Taheer, my P.A

Across the room, i caught mr. Khan smirking at me.

The announcer stepped forward. "Up next is Mr. khan's presentation, followed by Mr. Singhania.

As his P.A began presenting, Taheer paled. His hands trembeld as he turned to me.

"Boss, this is our presentation. this is our data! How did they get it?"

I clenched my jaw. My veins pulsed with rage. That bastard stole my hard work.

I locked eyes with Mr. Khan, who was now grinning arrogantly.

You messed with the wrong man.

As soon as his presentation ended, it was my turn. I stood up, buttoned my suit, and walked to the stage. without a single glance at my laptop, i began my presentation.

I could see Mr. Khan's smirk slowly fade, turning into pure frustration. Checkmate.

By the time i finished, Taheer's mouth was hunging open, and the room was filled with impressed murmurs.

During the break, Taheer rushed to me, still in shock. "Boss! That was brilliant! We're definitely getting the deal. But.. how did you do that? You didn't even open your laptop! "

I smirked. "Because, Taheer.. i already knew that bastard was planning something. So, i planned something better".

A few days ago karan - one of our junior executives - interrupted an ongoing meeting just to inform me that Mr. Khan had offered him a hefty amount in exchange for our presentation". So i instructed him to give Mr. Khan a fabricated presentation to throw him off".

Understanding dawned on Taheer's face.

"So Mr. Khan presented the fake data"?

I gave a sharpe nod. "Exactly. And now .. we win".

The announcer returned. "And the deal goes to ..... Singhania company!

Applause erupted in the room as people rushed to congratulate us. I glanced at Mr. Khan and smirked.

"Wait," i said, stepping forward. "Before we end this meeting, i have something to share".

I played a video clip on the screen - Mr. Khan's secretly offering money to Karan in exchange for our data. His face turned ghostly pale.

" So, gentleman," i spoke, my voice cold and calculated, "if this is the kind of integrity Mr. Khan's company operates with, then i believe none of us should trust them with future business deals".

A ripple of agreement spread through the hall. One by one, companies started withdrawing their partnership with Mr. khan's firm.

Taheer leaned in, whispering, "boss, he just dug his own grave. His company is about to go bankrupt."

I smirked. As expected.

I walked up to Mr. Khan, my gaze sharpe and unwavering.

"What did you think, Mr. Khan? That you could backstab Ayansh Singhania and i wouldn't find out?" I let out a cold chukle.

"How naive"

I stepped closer, lowering my voice just enough for him to hear. "This.. was just a warning. Next time you even think about crossing me, i won't just take your deal - i'll make sure you have nothing left to bargain with".

Leaning in slightly, i smirked. "So tread carefully, Mr. Khan. Because the game you started... i finish".

With that, i turned and walked away, leaving him to drown in the consequences of his own actions.
